How long does it take to build a website?
This will depend entirely on the complexity and size of your project and on our current work schedule. However, a new website typically takes somewhere between 4-8 weeks from start to finish.

Can you register our domain name and host our website?
Absolutely, we manage domain registrations and provide website hosting for many of our clients.

What do you charge for building a website?
Most small business websites we design fall between $2000-$6000. Websites requiring ecommerce and content management systems will increase the cost. Technical support is included for 30 days after site launch.

Will my website be listed on search engines?
We use advanced search engine optimization (SEO) techniques to improve the coding and content of your website so that the chances of being listed favorably on search engines for your targeted keywords increases. Since SEO is critical to the success of your website, we do not charge additional fees for this service-SEO is always included as part of your website design.
We submit your website to all the major search engines, Google, Yahoo! and Bing (formerly MSN). It typically takes 4 weeks before your site is indexed completely.

Will I be able to update my own website and do you offer maintenance services?
Yes, you will be able to update your website. Included in website design packages are a one-time training session (by phone) and a written tutorial package (online). However, many of our clients prefer running their business and leaving the updates to us. Updates withing the first 30 days are free. After the first 30 days updates are $75/hour (min. $37.50/half-hour) or we can negotiate fees for frequent maintenance plans.

How long do website updates take?
This is one of our most frequently asked questions—perhaps because many of our competitors seem to have a reputation for slow service. Updates are always made in a timely manner, and we always return calls promply. Most updates are made within a few days, and minor updates are typically completed within 24 hours.

What do you charge for content writing?
Content writing is provided at the rate of $50/hour (min. $25/half-hour)—time meeting with the client to obtain information necessary to write content will be included in the overall cost and will be billed the same rate.

What do you charge for photography and/or video?
Hourly rates for photography and/or video begin at $110 per hour with a $275 minimum within the Washington, DC Metro Area. Additional fees may be added for other locations.

How do I make a payment?
We accept PayPal, credit cards (Visa, MasterCard and Discover via PayPal) and checks.
